Gistoux changed to being a dormitory town for those from Brussels looking for peace and quiet as well as countryside air.The guiding principle of our establishment is the tradition of the original recipes which give our products that distinctive quality for which they are renowned.It should be noted that all our products are made by hand in our kitchen in Chaumont-Gistoux (beneath the shop) with meticulous attention not only to the production process itself but also to the selection of the ingredients that go into them.Indeed, those ingredients are always sourced from the same suppliers with whom we select the specific produce we use such as the "the Northem cherries" one crop of which we order every year, etc. When the shop was taken over in 1980, "les magasins ROB" asked us if we would join their list of suppliers of homemade and traditional Belgian products. In 1997, DELHAIZE also asked us to propose a representative selection of our products and exclusively linked its name to our brand name.It should also be noted that all these products are exclusively made in our workshop in Chaumont-Gistoux.Since 1980, numerous products have been created such as the "mirliton aux poires", the chocolate tart as well as a range of quiches to satisfy all tastes.You can see from this brief account that this small country shop has, in 73 years, become a veritable institution thanks to you, our customers and to our constant quest for quality. We are open Wednesday to Sunday of 8:00 to 19:00.Closing Monday and Tuesday, (except bank holidays)
